Geschwister-Scholl Gymnasium

Das Geschwister Scholl Gymnasium liegt in Sangerhausen. Es ist das einzige Gymnasium in der Stadt. Die Schüler:innen kommen aus Sangerhausen und den umliegenden Dörfern. Ungefähr 1000 Schüler:innen werden in den Klassen 5 bis 12 beschult. Neben dem Schulteil in Sangerhausen gibt es auch einen Schulteil im Ort Kelbra. Abgesehen vom Unterricht gibt es die Möglichkeit an verschiedenen AGs teilzunehmen, zum Beispiel an den Schulchören, der Theater AG oder verschiedenen Sport AGs.

Our school is located in Sangerhausen. It is the only gymnasium in our town. The students come from Sangerhausen and the villages nearby. Students attend our gymnasium from the 5th to the 12th grade of the German school system. We have round about 1000 students. The first part of our school is situated in Sangerhausen, a second part is situated in the village Kelbra. Apart from the normal lessons the students have the possibility to attend different clubs like the choir, theatre or different sport clubs.
